Zero-waste pattern making is a creative and sustainable way to design garments that minimize fabric waste and environmental impact. It involves creating patterns that fit together like a puzzle, leaving no scraps or offcuts.
With so much waste inherent in fashion, it is increasingly important to become more responsible for what we wear.
On this course students will learn how to create a zero-waste garment. This course is ideal for students who wish to explore garment design from an ethical perspective, as well as
offering an introduction to an alternative way of pattern making and sewing techniques.
This course will be taught at Hillcroft College in Surbiton, which is part of Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College (RHACC). You will need to enrol via RHACC.
